Compact Inside Sales Rep

An Inside Sales Representative in the compact equipment space (like Takeuchi or Volvo) combines sales support, customer communication, and account management — mostly from the office or remotely rather than being out in the field every day.

Core Responsibilities

Sales Development & Support

  • Develop sales opportunities and support ongoing account activity for dealers and direct customers.
  • Assist outside sales teams by qualifying leads, following up with prospective buyers, and maintaining customer communication.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to respond to sales inquiries, provide product info, and promote offerings.

Dealer & Account Relations

  • Support and communicate with dealer networks in your assigned region.
  • Help with dealer recruitment, inventory control, and program communication.

Volvo Construction Equipment

  • Focus on generating sales and rental leads for compact gear.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and support forecasting.
  • Work with CRM tools to manage customer data, calls, quotes, and sales activity.
  • Assist outside sales reps with follow-through and administrative support.
