Community Talent Consultant — St. Louis & Surrounding Areas

Help People Find Their New Beginning.

Are you outgoing, energetic, and passionate about connecting people with opportunities? Do you love being out in the community, building relationships, and opening doors?

At Phoenix Home Care & Hospice, we’re looking for a Community Talent Consultant to help us grow our workforce throughout the St. Louis area. This is not your typical desk-based recruiting role. You'll be out in the community—visiting schools, hospitals, healthcare facilities, community organizations, career events, chambers, and other local partners—to build relationships and connect great people with meaningful career opportunities at Phoenix.

Think of this role as a recruiter with a community outreach and marketing mindset.

Join a collaborative, supportive team that values individuality. We’re not a “cookie-cutter” workplace — we embrace big personalities, positive attitudes, and innovative thinking. We work hard, have fun, and believe that great people create an amazing workplace!

What We Offer

  • Health benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and more
  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • 401K plan
  • Continuing education opportunities
  • Employment recognition programs
  • A positive, team-focused culture

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain relationships with local schools, colleges, hospitals, healthcare organizations, workforce partners, chambers of commerce, and community organizations
  • Represent Phoenix at career fairs, hiring events, school events, community activities, networking opportunities, and sponsored events
  • Develop creative ways to introduce Phoenix career opportunities to potential caregivers, clinicians, and other team members
  • Serve as a community ambassador for Phoenix, sharing our culture, mission, career opportunities, and what makes us a great place to work
  • Create and maintain a strong pipeline of potential candidates through community outreach and relationship building
  • Partner closely with Phoenix recruiters and hiring leaders to understand current and upcoming hiring needs
  • Generate candidate leads and connect prospective employees with the appropriate recruiter or hiring opportunity
  • Follow up with interested candidates and help guide them through the next steps in the hiring process
  • Identify new community partnerships and outreach opportunities that strengthen Phoenix's talent pipeline
  • Track outreach activity, relationships, events, candidate leads, and results
  • Bring ideas to the table for new recruiting events, partnerships, and creative talent attraction strategies
  • Travel throughout the St. Louis area and surrounding communities; some evenings and weekends may apply

What You Bring

  • A friendly, outgoing, and highly engaging personality
  • A natural ability to build relationships and connect with people
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Comfort representing an organization in professional and community settings
  • Ability to work independently, manage your schedule, and take initiative
  • Strong organization and follow-through
  • A creative, proactive approach to solving recruiting challenges
  • Prior experience in recruiting, staffing, marketing, community outreach, business development, healthcare, or relationship-based sales is preferred — but we will train the right person!

What Makes You Successful in This Role

You enjoy getting out from behind a desk and meeting people. You're comfortable walking into a school, attending a networking event, introducing yourself to a new community partner, or representing Phoenix at a career fair.

You understand that great recruiting starts with great relationships.

You're someone who sees an opportunity to connect, starts a conversation, and follows through.

Most importantly, you're excited about helping people discover meaningful careers while helping Phoenix build the team that delivers exceptional care to our communities.

Why Choose Phoenix?
