Role Title: Volunteer – Community Sports Coordinator

For Everyone is a Berlin-based nonprofit dedicated to creating inclusive spaces where people can connect, heal, and grow. We run workshops, community programs, and events that support creativity, wellbeing, and social belonging.
For Everyone is looking for a volunteer or intern who loves sports and games and wants to help create a fun, welcoming space where people can come together through play, body movement, and connection with nature.
We are starting a new project to offer regular outdoor games and sports sessions where anyone can join in, move their body, and connect with others.
Your role would include:
Coming up with ideas for fun and inclusive outdoor games, sports, and activities
Creating a friendly, playful environment where everyone feels welcome
Setting your own short-term goals to improve sessions and track how things are going
Making sure the activities reflect our mission of building connection, friendship, and belonging across all communities in Berlin

What's neededIn order to apply for the volunteering positionit is mandatory to have participated in one workshop.
For this volunteering opportunity you don't need any German skills.
Prerequisites & Desired Skills
Experience in coordinating sports activities, games, or nature-based events – this can be either professional or recreational.
Genuine passion for sports, physical activity, community-building, and the outdoors.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to create inclusive and welcoming environments.
Organizational skills and a proactive attitude in planning and leading group activities.
Experience in event management (planning, logistics, promotion) is a valuable asset but not required.
Most importantly, participated in one workshop at Wellbeing For Everyone before applying.
Regularly
Approx. 5-6 hours per week.
On weekdays, on weekends, during the day
For this project, we estimate a commitment of approximately 8 hours per week. This may vary depending on individual working styles and specific needs of the week.

| Outdoor Activity | 2 hours | Deliver the group session (sports/games) outdoors.
| Reflection | 1 hour | Reflect on your session, review your personal goals, and identify improvements or needs.
| Coordination | 1 hour | Attend a weekly meeting and give feedback to HR or the team about how the activity went.
| Team Building / Supervision | 1 hour (occasional) | Occasionally join workshops or supervision sessions to build team connection and support.

What We Do
For Everyone Collective is a social justice-focused apparel and screen printing co-op worker-owned by formerly incarcerated people and their loved ones. Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the company creates clothing and art to inspire a world without revenge and challenge systems of imprisonment. It provides living wages and comprehensive healthcare to its employees, fostering a supportive community for those impacted by criminalization.
