About us

Talent Garden is a leading digital skills academy in Europe, empowering individuals and organizations to thrive in the innovation ecosystem through diverse learning experiences. With online, offline, and hybrid courses, corporate programs and work and events spaces we offer an unparalleled vision to combine work life and learning.

Founded in Italy in 2011, Talent Garden has trained over 25,000 professionals in digital skills and business innovation, developed tailored corporate education programs for Fortune 500 companies, and built a network of 11 campuses in 4 countries, hosting over 4,500 innovators from startups, corporate labs, investors, and SMEs.

The role

We’re looking for a Community Manager to join the team at our Rome campus, located in the Gazometro area—an iconic urban space where Rome’s industrial heritage meets forward-thinking innovation.
In this role, your mission will be to activate, engage, and continuously strengthen the existing campus community, creating meaningful connections and experiences that drive engagement, retention, and long-term value.

Responsibilities

  • Own and activate the day-to-day life of the campus community, acting as a visible and trusted point of reference for members on-site.
  • Plan and deliver the community events program (talks, workshops, networking formats), managing the full lifecycle from concept to execution.
  • Build strong relationships with members through structured onboarding, ongoing interactions, and proactive 1:1 touchpoints.
  • Own and shape the community communication strategy, including newsletters and ongoing updates, to drive consistent engagement and participation.
  • Own the community NPS process, including feedback collection, analysis, and implementation of improvement actions together with the City Lead.
  • Scout and activate strategic partnerships that create tangible value for the community, in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Collaborate with the Events Manager and the rest of the team to create synergies between community initiatives, B2B events, and daily campus operations.
  • Represent and strengthen Talent Garden’s presence within the local startup and innovation ecosystem, engaging speakers, partners, and relevant community voices.

About you

Ideally, you enjoy working in highly relational, people-driven environments and feel comfortable being on-site, close to the community, and taking ownership of initiatives from idea to execution.
On top of this, you bring:

  • At least 2 years of experience in community management, event management, or similar roles within dynamic contexts.
  • Strong community-building skills, with the ability to engage people, foster belonging, and build long-term relationships.
  • Demonstrated capability to conceive, develop, promote, and deliver events end-to-end, from initial concept to on-site execution.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with high ownership and comfort working autonomously while collaborating in a small team.
  • Solid organisational, budget, and project management skills, with the ability to plan and monitor multiple initiatives in parallel.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
  • Commercial and partnership acumen, with experience or exposure to customer success, partnerships, or sales-adjacent roles.
  • High social intelligence and a naturally engaging presence, with the ability to build trust and become a point of reference for diverse stakeholders.
  • A good understanding of the startup and innovation ecosystem in Rome.
  • Availability to be on-campus (Via Ostiense, 92) five days a week (9:00–18:00), with flexibility for occasional evening events.
  • Native-level fluency in Italian and fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Perks and benefit

  • Access to all our co-working spaces across Europe.
  • Free access to all our Master courses.
  • Meal vouchers and a €1,000 welfare budget to spend as you like.
  • Mum&Dad policy offering (even more) flexible remote work options for expecting parents, a €1,000 bonus, and additional leave for dads to bond with their child.
  • An extra 6 working days of vacation each year, on top of local regulations.
