In the Management Support Community, which is part of HR NL/Europe, we have the ambition to build and further strengthening a management support community where we provide excellent management support to our higher management within ASML.

Role and responsibilities

As a community lead management support, you are responsible for:

  • Designing, building and deploying the functional strategy for the Management Support community. Based on business and community needs, you ensure functional processes and drive the community of practice to accelerate opportunities to connect between different assistants’ teams;

  • Maintaining and monitoring the competence framework and translating this into the learning curriculum

  • Setting the standards and providing guidance deploying and keeping the service policy for management support up to date;

  • Pro-actively connecting, enabling and challenging all management support teams and relevant stakeholders, including Executive- and Board Assistants and the senior management of the assistants;

  • Advising and coaching the members of the Management Support community to help them grow, mature and continuously improve in their roles from a functional perspective;

  • Quantity and quality of staffing, contact with external parties to facilitate inflow of trainees, flex capacity and new hires;

Education and experience

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.

  • Experience with people- and program management and stakeholder management of senior/executive management in a large complex organization.

  • Practical experience in successful building and activation of professional Communities and CoP’s.

  • Experience with implementation of change and improvement projects or ability to do so.

Skills

  • Excellent communicator, being able to influence without hierarchical power, and creative in managing a large and diverse range of stakeholders

  • Maintains personal effectiveness and people focus under pressure, high speed of change and uncertainty

  • Ability to guide, coach and advise at all organizational levels to effect sustainable change and improving the management support level of the organization

  • Strong emphasis on independence, ability to manage complexity and deal with ambiguity

  • Able to build strong networks and effectively engage and manage stakeholders including the ability to drive, steer, convince and influence others.

  • Team player, enjoys working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams with the ability to work independently 

  • Takes ownership, gets things done and pro-actively drives for improvement.

  • Organizational and interpersonal savviness.
