We are looking for a skilled Communications Specialist to join our team in the plastics machinery industry. This role involves creating technical content for marketing and business development initiatives. The ideal candidate should be proficient in writing compelling and accurate content for various channels, such as websites, social media, print media, and out-of-home advertisements, and support internal communications. Additionally, the role requires conducting secondary research to identify potential customers globally and contribute to business growth.

Work You’ll Do:

Copywriting for Products and Services:

Develop compelling and accurate copy for various products and services.

Adapt content for multiple channels, including websites, social media, print, and out-of-home advertisements.

Create promotional and educational materials for campaigns targeting external and internal audiences.

Technical Write-Ups:

Produce clear and detailed technical documents, such as product specifications, case studies, blogs and white papers.

Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure precision and clarity in all technical communications.

Promotional Campaigns:

Lead content creation for promotional campaigns, focusing on product launches, educational initiatives, and customer engagement.

Ensure consistency in messaging and alignment with broader marketing strategies.

Utilize insights from research and data analysis to drive impactful and targeted campaigns.

Internal Communications:

Manage internal communication channels to keep employees informed, engaged, and aligned with company goals.

Develop content for internal newsletters, announcements, and updates reflecting the company’s values and objectives.

Content Strategy and Management:

Develop and execute content strategies aligned with marketing objectives and business goals.

Maintain a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of all content assets.

Implement SEO best practices to enhance content visibility and effectiveness, driving measurable engagement and brand visibility results.

Secondary Research and Customer Identification:

Conduct secondary research using search engines and other tools to identify potential customers globally.

Report findings to sales teams.

Brand Management:

Ensure all content consistently reflects the company’s brand identity and voice.

Collaborate with the marketing team to create and maintain a cohesive brand presence across all communication channels.

Lead in creating and launching new brands or supporting rebranding efforts.

Team:

The Communication Specialist will join a dynamic team focused on driving growth and brand visibility. The team collaborates with other departments as well as external agencies to develop and execute strategic initiatives, staying ahead of trends to engage audience and achieve measurable results.

Educational Requirements, Essential Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, or English.
  • A Master’s Degree in Communications or Marketing is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a communications role, focusing on technical writing, content management, and marketing support.
  • Proven experience in writing and editing for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, including social media management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adaptability, creativity, and a strong alignment with the company’s culture and values.
