WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH


The Nike Communications teams develops, establishes and strengthens authentic
connections with diverse audiences through the lens of innovation and sport. Reporting
to our Communications Lead, you’ll be part of our LatAm team which creates premium
and innovative brand stories, builds and enhances corporate reputation and brand
equity, and engages audiences such as consumers, media, athletes, investors, NGOs and
Nike’s own employees.


WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR


Nike is hiring for a Communications Specialist for Latin America (LatAm)! This role is
based in our Mexico City office and is part of the broader Asia Pacific Latin America
(APLA) Communications team.

most diverse territories in the APLA geography?
We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field is preferred
  • 1 to 5 years' professional experience involving corporate communications, public  relations, marketing, advertising (or a combination of most), preferably working for large consumer brand or agency that has supported a large consumer brand
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills in both Spanish and English
  • Experience writing and editing for different medium, including but not limited to print, web, advertising, articles and general public relations
  • Ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, negotiate and conceive/create new  ideas
  • Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization and develop consensus within diverse groups
  • Sports knowledge and participation experience preferable
  • Patience, diplomacy and the ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines
  • Thorough knowledge of print and broadcast mediums

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON


Through supporting with engagement with our external audience and employees you will
help craft the positioning of NIKE Inc.'s communications.


Communications team are the same! One day you will be supporting event planning with
Olympic and Paralympic athletes and the next you’ll be part of brainstorming sessions on
football and building excitement around the ’26 and ’27 World Cups.


As part of your day to day you’ll get the ooportunity to:

  • Support Nike’s business objectives and brand strategies through compelling and will be part of the team that brings creative storytelling to life and develops  responsive communications projects and initiatives.
  • Plan, ideate, research, write and edit a wide range of communications content  including newsletters, brochures, presentations, briefs, press releases, invites, HTML emails, updates, etc. in collaboration with our LatAm Communications Lead.
  • Support the execution of communications plans, programs, campaigns and events for both internal and external audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders across the Territory in a multi-functional environment to develop and implement create key company initiatives.
