Join us for a Summer 2024 internship as part of our Corporate Communications Team!

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual with experience in graphic design programs (Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and strong writing skills.

The ideal candidate will create visually appealing content, support and engage in diverse projects that enhance our corporate messaging.

This position will provide exposure to the Corporate Communications function and will assist with projects to include:

Assist team with creative and project support for ongoing initiatives and projects in all areas of communications such as creating internal news content, social media posts, presentations, speeches and memos, etc.

Help develop/manage bi-weekly newsletter, digital signage, and internal digital content

Assist with activities on a variety of Corporate Communications programs and events, including employee engagement efforts, attending events to take photos and/or develop content

Analyze corporate social channels, corporate website and intranet, and research digital trends as needed.

Candidate will gain hands-on experience in the intersection of design and communications while making a meaningful impact on our brand presence.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be a current student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university
• Rising junior or senior preferred
• Minimum availability of 10 weeks (June 3 - August 9th)
• Majoring in a marketing, communications, public relations or graphic design degree
• Participation in student organizations and/or other leadership experience

• Demonstrated interest in biotechnology and gene therapy industry

Spark takes into consideration a combination of candidate's education, training, and experience as well as the position's scope and complexity, the discretion and latitude required in the role, and external market and internal value when determining a salary for potential new employees. The base salary range for this position is currently from $45,100-$67,700.
