About the Role
You will be supporting the Communications Manager Germany with our ever-growing slate of exciting films and activities at MUBI, supporting our efforts globally across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. You’ll be a key player in coordinating our publicity efforts across all titles, supporting publicity campaigns, talent management, events and press junkets amongst other things.
The role is based in Berlin.
You will focus on:

Supporting the German Communications Manager across all activities, including film publicity, brand activations, events, media relations, and talent management

Localizing and proofing press assets

Press coverage tracking and reporting
-
Assist with creating the local monthly programming mailing and collating assets for our press agency

Send and track screener link requests

Assist with booking and signing in press screenings

Support during press junkets, premieres and film festivals including schedule management and talent handling - some of these events will be outside of regular working hours

Coordinate team meetings, agendas and take notes

Manage database of press contacts

Assist with finance administration

Assist in managing press requests
What you will bring:

A passion for independent and international cinema
-
Interest in building a career in Public Relations/Communications
-
Any academic or practical experience in Entertainment or Media along with an understanding of Communications and Publicity

Strong organisation skills and impeccable attention to detail
-
Proactivity and willingness to learn
-
Knowledge of software such as Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, PowerPoint and Excel
-
Fluency in German and English, any additional language skills are a bonus
