Job Summary
Aretum is seeking a Communications Analyst to serve as a key liaison between publishing teams, approving offices, and program stakeholders to manage and support publication activities throughout the publication lifecycle. This role coordinates workflows, tracks publication products, provides clear guidance, and ensures technical documents meet established quality, writing, and approval standards.
Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact between publishing teams, approving offices, and program stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and coordination throughout the publication lifecycle.
- Track, manage, route, and maintain accurate records of publication products across multiple systems in a fast-paced environment.
- Review and evaluate technical documents for grammar, clarity, readability, consistency, and compliance with established writing and publication standards.
- Facilitate cross-functional meetings, provide publication status updates, and assist with resolving issues, adjudications, and approval requirements.
- Support program offices in developing strategic publication plans and identifying innovative approaches to improve communication and publication outcomes.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree and 4 (+) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience supporting communications, publications, technical documentation, or similar programs in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate policies, requirements, and guidance to diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to review and edit technical documents for grammar, clarity, consistency, and adherence to established standards.
- Strong organizational, customer service, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate documentation.

- Strategic Communication experience
Travel Requirements
This is a remote position; however, occasional travel may be required based on project needs, client meetings, team collaboration events, or training sessions. Travel is expected to be less than 10% and will be communicated in advance whenever possible.

- Salary Range: $85,000–$100,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including education, experience, qualifications, skills, and applicable contract requirements.
