The position
As SVP Communication Partner, you play a key role in prioritising and executing on leadership communication efforts locally as well as forming communication across our SVP area. You will be responsible for crafting and improving communication across various internal platforms, while effectively interacting with internal and external stakeholders.
Your main activities include:

  • Serving as the communication partner to the SVP of ES and advisor to the External Supply management team
  • Owning the strategic communication across SVP area aiming to clarify shared strategic direction and supporting the roll-out and follow-up of the ES Business Plan
  • Managing the overall responsibility for internal channels, including SharePoint, news channel, and Viva Engage
  • Driving, utilising, and developing the ES Communication Network consisting of the CVP communication partners in the area


You report to the Director of Strategy & Executive Support but work closely with the SVP, the head of Business Support and the head of P&O on central business priorities.
Alongside a communication student assistant and a communication intern, you will be the driver of the ES Communication Network, working to align communication activities across the area, ensure sharing of best practices within communication and providing ES Management and other leaders with communication support locally.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you should:

  • Hold a master's degree in communication or a closely related field, coupled with a minimum of 5 years of practical experience as a communication partner
  • Demonstrate expertise in strategic & leadership communication, external communication/media handling, change management, and event planning/execution
  • Possess experience in advising leaders on communication issues and in selection and use of effective communication tools and channels
  • Have project management experience, e.g. with delivering communication strategies/plans and securing implementation
  • Possess strong journalistic and editorial skills, with the ability to target different groups and make complex matters clear
  • Display fluency in both verbal and written English


As a person, you are confident in your communication toolbox and thrive when crafting efficient, targeted messages and various communication materials. You are good at prioritising and keeping calm also when time is scarce, with a sharp eye for details. You are able to work independently, taking ownership of your assignments, and ensuring learnings and improvements are captured along the way while being a true team player. You have a strategic mindset and can translate strategic priorities into tangible, simple and actionable content. You are comfortable setting direction and mentoring others to achieve the best results for the area.
About the department
You will join Product Supply ES, part of Product Supply, Quality, and IT, responsible for all activities securing external supply to Novo Nordisk's production including supplier and CMO management, contract negotiation, strategic sourcing, and operations. We work across the PS value chain and are trusted partners to both internal and external stakeholders.
The Strategy & Executive Support team that you will be part of is organisationally placed in the SVP area's Business Support unit. The team is responsible for strategy development and deployment - and communication across the area and work closely together to achieve our goals.
