We're looking for a detail-driven Commissions Analyst to own the quarterly sales commissions process for our Go-To-Market organization. You'll be the person who ensures every rep gets paid accurately and on time — turning complex sales data into clean, audit-ready commission statements each quarter.
This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to Sales, Revenue Operations, Legal, and Billing leadership, and a chance to help shape the automation of our commissions process from the ground up.
What You’ll Do:
Own the end-to-end quarterly commissions calculation process — collating source data, building calculations, and producing accurate, well-documented commission statements for the sales organization.
Review underlying data and commission statements for completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness before payout.
Evaluate sales opportunities in Salesforce (SFDC) to confirm commission plan release conditions have been met.
Manage payout deadlines, investigate discrepancies, and drive issues to resolution — escalating to management and partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Deals Desk, Revenue Operations, Legal, Billing and Payroll as needed.
Play a key role in the implementation of a new commissions plan onto our incentive compensation platform, helping design a scalable process for a growing sales organization.
Serve as a trusted point of contact for sales stakeholders, providing clear, timely updates on commission-related questions and issues.
Support ad hoc projects within the US Controllership (GL Accounting) team.
Requirements:
Exceptional attention to detail and strong documentation habits — you catch what others miss.
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables, VBA); comfort working with large, messy datasets.
Excellent written and verbal communication — you can explain compensation mechanics clearly to both finance and sales audiences.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with a structured, problem-solving mindset.
Comfort with AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude) to improve efficiency and accuracy in day-to-day work.
Familiarity with Salesforce and/or a revenue billing system; exposure to incentive compensation platforms (e.g., CaptivateIQ) is a strong plus.
Working knowledge of GAAP is a plus.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related analytical field.
2+ years of directly applicable experience in Finance or Accounting.
