Job Description

As an Analyst in the Commission Management Team at IQEQ, you will play a critical role in efficiently and effectively administering commission schemes for our CCOs, Sales and Client Relationship Directors. Your responsibilities will revolve around the end-to-end retrieval and analysis of revenue data, subsequent commission calculations, and ongoing compliance with internal policies and external regulations as associated with those activities. This role requires strong financial literacy particularly across the billing, and accounting processes, combined with excellent data management and thorough problem-solving skills. Working within a newly established dynamic team, you will ensure the seamless execution of commission processes and contribute to improving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities Commission Management:

▪ Validate, trace and process commission payments in-line with company policies

▪ Support the management and application of all commission schemes across IQ-EQ This entails: Revenue Analysis:

▪ Collation, analysis and reconciliation of new business records from OneView through to the associated time and billing systems to facilitate commission calculation

▪ Calculate and validate payable commission, using the collated data and ensure timely completion of the annual payment cycle Policy Management:

▪ Support the revision and preparation of scheme documentation on an annual basis to ensure active commission schemes are optimized for commercial performance Stakeholder Collaboration:

▪ Partner closely with Commercial, Finance, HR, and IT teams to align on commission structures, payment schedules, and reporting requirements.

▪ Address and resolve commission-related queries from internal stakeholders professionally and promptly

▪ Support regular MI and reporting to senior stakeholders to ensure the impact of commission payable is fully understood within the group Process Management:

▪ Maintain documentation on processes and procedures.

▪ Assist with implementing process improvements and updates.

▪ Support team members with learning and adapting to new processes.

▪ Identify inefficiencies or risks in the legacy commission process and recommend improvements.

▪ Collaborate on implementing automation tools to streamline calculations and reporting. Compliance and Risk Management:

▪ Adhere to regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in commission processes.

▪ Monitor for and address potential risks, such as discrepancies or non-payment issues.

Qualifications

Core Skills:

▪ Strong numerical and analytical skills with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.

▪ Problem-solving mindset to identify and address issues in data, calculations, or processes.

▪ Analyze complex problems and identify effective solutions.

▪ Ability to manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines.

▪ Previous experience in either finance, billing or revenue management.

Key Competencies:

▪ Numerical accuracy and proficiency in handling large data sets.

▪ Process-driven, with a focus on efficiency and quality.

▪ Strategic thinking to align commission processes with broader organizational goals.

▪ Knowledge of finance, billing or revenue management processes.

 

Technical Skills

▪ Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis tools.

▪ Familiarity with financial software and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms.

▪ Experience working with automation tools or commission management platforms (e.g., Xactly, Varicent).

▪ Strong foundation of accounting principles, billing functions and revenue reconciliation.

Interpersonal Skills

▪ Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with diverse stakeholders.

▪ Collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team and across departments.

▪ Good planning and organisational skills.

▪ Professional demeanor to manage sensitive financial data and resolve queries pragmatically and diplomatically.

▪ Adaptability and resilience to handle the complexities of inheriting and improving a legacy process.
