Position Description
As a Commercial Sr. Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Develop and implement the commercial plan for our products, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and market dynamics.
  • Manage and optimize the distribution network, ensuring availability, visibility, and profitability of our products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, such as pharmacy chains and wholesalers, and negotiate contracts and terms of business.
  • Lead and coordinate trade marketing activities, including promotions, merchandising, training, and events, to increase brand awareness and market share.
  • Analyze and monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, providing insights and recommendations to the commercial director and marketing team.
  • Manage and coach a team of Key Account Managers and Executives, as well as Trade Marketing Executives, ensuring their performance and development.


Required Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • 5-7 years of experience working in commercial areas such as marketing, sales, or commercial operations. At least 2 years of experience managing distribution channels in the private sector with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is strongly preferred, but not mandatory. Experience working in mass consumption is a plus.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience managing a team.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Availability to travel up to 30% of the time.
