SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES
It is the responsibility of the Commercial Sales Enablement Manager to take ownership of all tasks and challenges they encounter in the operation of their assigned position. The role is a critical support function of the Commercial Bank requiring frequent interaction with Executive and Senior level management, as well as Relationship Managers and their deal teams across the footprint. It is both tactical and strategic in nature with significant collaboration within the Line of Business team as well as other departments of the bank, including Marketing and Communication, Information Technology, Finance and the Consumer Division.

Drive Commercial RM Performance by engaging RMs in the use of Business Intelligence tools available to Commercial RMs and their leaders, primarily focusing on SouthState’s proprietary Commercial Sales Enablement platform – BankerBoards – a performance measurement, management and enablement tool used by the commercial leaders and their teams on a daily basis.
Support the Director of Commercial Sales and the Commercial Business Intelligence team in the annual review, design, rollout and support of the Commercial Incentive Plan
Responsibility for the accuracy of First Year Revenue calculations for the incentive plan, including daily reviews of new revenue booked from loans, deposits, fees, and referral revenue from product partners.
Be the primary partner with Commercial Bank Referral partners to identify, encourage, and track referral opportunities with the primary goal of increasing referral revenue and deepening Commercial client relationships.
BankerBoards Inbox: Be the primary point of contact for all Performance Management & Incentive Plan questions that come to the Bankerboards email inbox.
General management of the Commercial pipelines (Loans, Deposit and Treasury), including the development and management of executive-level pipeline reporting
Facilitate BankerBoards trainings via Webex or in person for bank-wide rollouts or in individual geographic sales-team meetings.
Primary responsibility for the engagement and support of Bank prospecting tools in support of the Commercial Bank
Lead small initiatives for Commercial Bank, as needed, with a group of key stakeholders, facilitating calls, capturing action items, driving teams forward, and ensuring department goals are met.
Perform research and gather data from various external and internal sources in order to provide strategic insight
Provide support for communication to the commercial bank division, professionally written and formatted.
Takes ownership of routine issues within the Commercial Line of Business; compiles and analyzes data to provide actionable information, insights, and solutions to key stakeholders.
Participates in planning and implementation of projects that support the sales organization.
Assure all confidential information is properly safeguarded in accordance with Bank policies.

Proficient in Business Analytics tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau
Proficient in MS Office, in particular Excel.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Graduate Degree encouraged)
Experience: 7+ years of Banking Experience, preferably in a Commercial Bank setting
Knowledge: Strong interpersonal skills, proficient computer skills, ability to multitask and prioritize projects
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS/CLASSES
On the job training and any additional training as needed (i.e. MS Power BI, MS Excel, Report Writing and Processing Program, General Ledger and Financial Reporting Program, MS Access, and Core Processing System). Required annual compliance training.
