About the Commercial Rotational Development Program (CRDP)
The Commercial Rotational Development Program (CRDP) is a talent pipeline program designed to recruit, hire, develop, and retain strong candidates from top MBA, PhD, and PharmD programs. CRDPs complete field and home office rotations, leading to the development of skills and experiences instrumental to their future contribution and success at Genentech.

Over the course of three years, three (3) rotational opportunities with key functions across CMG (e.g., Access Teams, Customer Experience, Access Solutions, Marketing, Strategic Analytics & Insights, etc.)

One (1) Field/Customer Facing Rotation: Typically a longer rotation of ~18 months, depending on business need and interest area; requires geographic flexibility (will be placed into US territory).

Two (2) Home Office Rotations: Each are typically a rotation of ~9 months, team identified based on business need and interest/development area; common areas of interest are Marketing, Access, Strategic Analytics, and Health Equity is emerging as an area of interest. Home Office Rotations are based in South San Francisco, CA.

At the end of this three-year program, associates may have the opportunity to pursue a transition into a position within a specific area of the Commercial organization.
Required Minimum Qualifications:

Advanced degree, MBA/Masters, PhD, PharmD, JD or other relevant degree, completed within the last three years by the start of employment

3 years of prior work experience in one or more of the following areas: healthcare, life sciences, biotech/medtech, brand management, consulting, finance, engineering, management sciences, and data science

Strong interest in and aspiration to be a commercial leader in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry

Highly motivated and self-driven with demonstrated leadership capabilities with a proven track record of driving and delivering results

Excellent communication skills in a matrixed organization to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, openness to diverse perspectives, and strong analytical skills

Business travel, by air or car, may be required for regular internal and external business meetings

Geographic flexibility - field rotation can be anywhere in the US

Re-location may be required to work at SSF campus and in alignment to Genentech campus presence requirements or re-location may be required to complete a field-based assignment

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $128,000 - $237,800. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position is eligible to earn incentive compensation that is calculated and paid in accordance with the applicable Incentive Compensation Plan for the role.
