Commercial Representative - Rome

At Deblock, we are building the first bank onchain: simple, non-custodial, and human. As we launch in Italy, we are looking for Commercial Representatives in Rome who will be our boots on the ground, putting Deblock in front of the city one café at a time. This is a hands-on, field-based, performance-driven role. You will report to the Italy Market Lead and work closely with our Growth team, making sure Deblock stands end up on café counters across Rome.

• The "Natural Talker" Profile: You talk to anyone. You're the one who calls the restaurant and books the table for the whole group, and you strike up conversations with strangers without thinking twice.
• Super Social: You're energised by people, not drained by them. A day of walking into thirty cafés and meeting thirty new faces sounds like a good day.
• Resilient: A "no" doesn't slow you down; it fires you up for the next one. You take rejection lightly and keep your pitch sharp.
• Mobile: You can get around Rome easily, whether by metro, bike, or tram, and you're happy to spend your days on the move.

🤩 What will make you stand out

• Local Knowledge: You know Rome's neighbourhoods and their café scenes.
• Sales, Promotion or Hospitality Experience: A first experience in door-to-door sales, brand ambassador work, street marketing, or behind a bar.
• Comfortable on Camera: You're at ease filming short, natural clips on your phone, and ideally you've posted a few yourself.
• Existing Local Relationships: You already know café owners, baristas, or people in Rome's hospitality scene. Even better.

🧑‍💻 What you'll be working on

• Café Outreach: Hit the cafés across Rome. Walk in, find the owner or manager, and give them a quick, sharp pitch on Deblock.
• Stand Placement: Leave a Deblock stand by the register or on the counter, positioned where customers will actually see it.
• Content Capture: Grab a coffee, film the moment, and share the clip with the team so we can turn each placement into content.
• Own Your Day: No fixed hours, no set area. You plan your route, pick your neighbourhoods, and decide when to go.
• Field Feedback: Report back what café owners say, what works in your pitch and what doesn't, and anything that can help us improve.
