WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE  
The Commercial Project Specialist supports the Commercial pool projects, under the guidance of the Project Manager(s), preparing project quotes and following them up through the Order Entry and Production processes. The position is responsible for quoting all Fluidra product categories, including custom products (e.g. custom rails, Slides, and Bulkheads). The actions begin with the RFP (RFQ), go through the delivery of the final Bid Packet and submittals, and finishes with the project follow-up (production status, lead times). This position requires attention to detail, the ability to read construction drawings, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication skills.  Entails phone and e-mail communication with the Project Managers, Salespeople, customers, Aquatic Design Firms, Customer Service, Logistics, etc. to support the commercial projects bid process. Additionally, you will:  
  • Monitor commercial leads through Dodge Reports™ and other channels, and gather, summarize, and distribute them to the Commercial team.
  • Support the Project Managers in generating quotes, bid Packets, and submittal packages for commercial projects.  
  • Maintain centralized database of project quotes in conjunction with the Project Managers and the Commercial Sales Managers using Jira software.
  • Verify completeness and accuracy of the information in the Submittal package (drawings, technical specifications, quotations and other documents) for approval
  • Support distribution of the submittal packages to customers, and drive follow up activities to ensure return of signed submittals in a timely manner.
  • Communicate shipping dates among the internal teams including the Design Support team, Production, Commercial Sales Manager and Customers
  • Respond to special requests (technical info, drawings, etc.) from the local Health Departments and ensure proper legalization
  • Maintain organized and detailed project records with all required info. within ERP system 
  • Follow project to completion and support through the shipment of completed order 
WHAT WE SEEK
  • 2+ years’ experience of technical product background with experience in the construction industry with Bid/Spec. projects. Specific swimming pool experience is desired.
  • Experience reading Technical Specifications and Construction Drawings
  • Computer skills - proficient computer system-based tools including but not limited to Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
EDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent.

Expected hourly rate is $27.00 - $33.00. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
