We invite you to join the Hexcel team at various manufacturing sites, sales offices, and R&D centers around the globe. Become a part of the “strength within.”

At Hexcel, some of our most important business decisions pass through a structured commercial approval process that drives growth, protects profitability, and ensures long-term customer success. As our Commercial Process Manager, you will play a pivotal role at the heart of this process, partnering with Commercial, Finance, Legal, Business Development, and Executive Leadership teams across EMEA and globally.
This is a unique opportunity to create lasting impact by developing best-in-class commercial governance processes, enhancing visibility of key business opportunities, and building the tools and reporting that support multi-million-dollar customer agreements. This role is ideal for a highly organized, commercially astute professional who enjoys creating structure from complexity, improving processes from the ground up, and working closely with senior stakeholders to drive informed business decisions.

About the Role

Hexcel has recently enhanced its commercial governance framework, establishing a more robust and structured approach to managing customer proposals, contract approvals, financial reviews, and long-term agreements (LTAs).

As Commercial Process Manager, you will become a key driver of this evolving center of excellence, ensuring the right processes, controls, reporting tools, and workflows are in place to support effective decision-making at every level of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the continuous development and improvement of commercial validation, approval, and governance processes across EMEA/AP.

  • Manage customer proposal, contract approval, and Long-Term Agreement (LTA) workflows, ensuring compliance, visibility, and effective governance.

  • Develop and implement tools, reporting frameworks, and workflow solutions to improve efficiency, tracking, and decision-making.

  • Monitor commercial opportunities throughout their lifecycle, maintaining accurate reporting, process adherence, and stakeholder visibility.

  • Partner with Sales, Business Development, Finance, and Legal teams to facilitate robust commercial and financial evaluations.

  • Coordinate approval processes involving cross-functional and senior stakeholders, including executive and global leadership teams.

  • Manage the pipeline of contract renewals, new business opportunities, and strategic customer agreements across the region.

  • Define, monitor, and report KPIs relating to process effectiveness, approval cycle times, contract performance, and business outcomes.

  • Drive increased automation, reporting capability, and data-driven insights to enhance transparency and reduce manual effort.

  • Train, support, and influence stakeholders while continuously refining processes, tools, and governance standards to meet evolving business needs.

What We're Looking For
  • Degree qualified, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

  • Proven experience managing complex commercial processes, bids, proposals, contracts, or governance frameworks within a manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, or similarly regulated environment.

  • Demonstrated success designing, implementing, or improving business processes and controls from concept through to deployment.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including knowledge of pricing, cost structures, margin analysis, and business performance metrics.

  • Experience developing KPIs, dashboards, workflow tools, and performance reporting, ideally using Power BI or similar platforms.

  • Highly analytical, with the ability to interrogate data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable business improvements.

  • Strong process-oriented mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced international environment.

  • Experience working collaboratively with Finance, Legal, Commercial, and operational stakeholders to support business decision-making.

  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, including confidence engaging with Senior Leadership Teams and executive-level decision-makers.

  • Fluent in French and English, with strong IT systems capability and experience operating within complex, procedural business environments.
