The Commercial Operations Performance team functions as the operational and shared services hub for our commercial ops teams. It's the backbone that facilitates the realization of our operational team's goals, helping to orchestrate a seamless operational environment through meticulous oversight of data tools, day to day reporting, strategic project data support and long term data and reporting strategy.
As a cornerstone of our operations, the Commercial Operations performance team plays a pivotal role in enhancing operational efficiency, enabling us to serve our Customers and Pros optimally.
About the RoleThe Commercial Operations Analyst role is dedicated to enhancing processes, standards and methodologies within the Commercial Operations teams. By focusing on improving consistency, efficiency, and overall value to the organization, this role plays a vital part in driving operational excellence.
What you’ll do- Develop and maintain robust performance ETLs and insightful dashboards, including compensation attainment and operational performance, to track key metrics.
- Collaborate with sales, service operations and other cross-functional partners to analyze data, providing actionable insights for optimizing the customer funnels.
- Propose and implement technical solutions and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales and Service Operations teams.
- Act as a project manager for data-driven initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with departmental goals for continuous improvement.
- Support the Head of Commercial Operations Performance with data analysis and reporting to drive strategic decisions.
- Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, including the ability to interpret and draw insights from complex datasets to inform decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement.
- 3+ years of experience writing SQL and using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker, with a strong background in blending HR, App/Website Usage, and CRM data (Salesforce, Workday, and Genesys preferred), and 2+ years of experience with project management tools like JIRA or Asana.
- Project Management Skills: Basic project management skills to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks effectively, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
- Business Acumen: Understanding of Service, Customer Service operations and key performance indicators (KPIs) to contextualize analysis findings and align operational efforts with organizational goals.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration Skills: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve common objectives.
- Experience with compensation research and data analysis
