As a Commercial Middle Market Division Director, you will be directly accountable for the performance and goal attainment of a designated group of Commercial Middle Market Banking Centers. The incumbent is the primary sales and business development driver for the division. Responsible for sales, customer service and quality at all levels. Able to originate and manage the most complex credits in the division.

In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Direct and execute the sales, marketing, and business development plan for the division.
  • Develop and manage the income and expense budget for the division.
  • Develop and lead teams to build profitable relationships with key middle market clients.
  • Responsible for ensuring division staff meets goals for commercial loan growth, deposit growth, 
  • and quality.
  • Monitor all credits through periodic reviews and analysis. Maintain appropriate levels of credit 
  • quality.
  • Responsible for creating awareness of the bank and its services through community activity. 
  • Resolve customer issues with satisfactory results.
  • Responsible for ensuring staff members are trained in sales, service, operations, and lending 
  • skills. Ensure exceptional customer service and the proactive cross-selling of Bank products and 
  • services based on customer needs.
  • Responsible for complying with, and ensuring staff follows, policies, procedures, security 
  • requirements, and government regulations.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree: Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science or other related field required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)

Experience

  • 10 or more years of commercial middle market/corporate bank experience in commercial credit and business development required.
  • 8 or more years of experience in a supervisory/management role leading a project, process, or commercial team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proven ability to successfully lead sales and business development.
  • Proven ability to develop, underwrite and manage complex business relationships.
  • Possess an in-depth knowledge of accounting principles and budgeting.
  • Possess strong leadership and team building skills with an in-depth knowledge of management 
  • and supervisory principles, policies, and legal requirements. Proven ability to motivate staff in the 
  • areas of sales, service, and quality. Demonstrated training and performance coaching skills.
  • Possess effective presentation, communication, and negotiation skills with strong analytical and 
  • problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations relating to commercial lending.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $178,322 – $241,259
