Responsibilities- Drive the commercial strategy: Support the development and execution of the hotel’s commercial strategy across sales, revenue, marketing, and business development, aligned with the hotel’s overall business objectives.
- Maximize revenue and profitability: Identify opportunities to optimize revenue, improve business mix, strengthen demand, and maximize profitability across all key market segments.
- Analyze performance and market trends: Monitor hotel performance, market conditions, competitor activity, and business trends to identify opportunities and recommend actions that support commercial growth.
- Lead commercial planning: Participate in regular commercial and business reviews, using data and insights to evaluate performance, identify gaps, and develop action plans to achieve targets.
- Drive cross-functional alignment: Work closely with Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations teams to ensure pricing, sales activities, promotions, distribution, and marketing initiatives are aligned and support the hotel’s commercial objectives.
- Develop business opportunities: Identify new revenue opportunities, strengthen relationships with key accounts and partners, and support initiatives that drive demand across corporate, leisure, group, and other relevant segments.
- Strengthen market positioning: Stay informed on market developments, competitor activity, customer trends, and emerging opportunities to maintain a strong and competitive position in the market.
- Use data to drive decisions: Leverage commercial reports, forecasting, market intelligence, and performance data to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred.
4–6 years of relevant experience in sales, commercial, or business development roles, preferably within the hospitality industry.
Proven experience in hotel sales and commercial operations, with a strong understanding of key market segments and business mix.
Strong knowledge of sales and commercial practices, with good understanding of revenue and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Professional certifications in Sales, Revenue Management, Commercial Management, or Hospitality are an advantage.
