Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an experienced Commercial Lead to join our team. In this role, you will lead the commercial management function across a major infrastructure program, providing oversight of contract administration, cost control, claims management, risk mitigation, and commercial reporting.
What You'll Be Doing:
Oversee project contracts, including preparation, review, administration, and compliance monitoring.
Manage contractual obligations and ensure contract terms are executed in a timely and effective manner.
Advise project teams on contractual risks, claims, entitlements, and commercial implications.
Lead the commercial monitoring of project costs, forecasts, budgets, and cash flows.
Analyze cost trends, identify commercial risks, and support the implementation of mitigation strategies.
Work closely with finance and project controls teams to ensure accurate cost reporting and forecasting.
Manage variations, claims, and change orders, ensuring proper assessment, documentation, and commercial evaluation.
Support the negotiation and resolution of claims with contractors, consultants, and relevant stakeholders.
Identify, assess, and manage commercial risks across the project lifecycle.
Develop mitigation plans and provide commercial advice to support leadership decision making.
Prepare commercial reports, dashboards, KPIs, and management updates for senior leadership and client stakeholders.
Present commercial insights, risks, and recommendations to support informed decision making.
Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team, promoting collaboration, compliance, and performance excellence.
Implement best practices in commercial management across large scale infrastructure programs.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial management, preferably within large infrastructure, aviation, or airport related projects.
Strong experience in contract administration, procurement processes, claims management, and change control.
Proven ability to manage budgets, monitor costs, review forecasts, and identify commercial risks.
Strong understanding of commercial reporting, cost control, and project governance.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary project teams, senior management, clients, contractors, and consultants.

Master's degree or relevant professional qualification is preferred.
