Commercial Lead, Pipeline (f/m/d)

About This Role:
As our new Commercial Lead, Pipeline (f/m/d) you will lead the cross-functional commercialization planning for the execution of product launches at the affiliate level, ensuring close strategic alignment with European and global teams. You will drive and provide complex scenario planning, go-to-market model development and orchestration of all critical functions involved. Your scope will include forecasting, launch planning and facilitation of high-impact team meetings to ensure seamless execution of launch activities during the pre- and peri-launch phases as well as timely delivery of key milestones. You will proactively manage commercialization risks, develop mitigation strategies and contribute to continuous improvement of launch excellence. With strict adherence to compliance standards, particularly during the pre-launch phase, you will ensure that all activities are conducted within regulatory boundaries and a clear operational separation between Commercial and Medical functions
What You’ll Do:
Create and calculate robust business cases to support launch decisions by integrating financial modeling, strategic insights, and market dynamics
Provide data-driven analysis to guide go-to-market model decisions and drive early customer segmentation strategies to ensure that launch plans are grounded in commercial viability and aligned with affiliate and global objectives
Lead early-stage market analysis activities including social media screening, web crawling, AI-based market intelligence, and traditional market research to uncover customer needs, competitive positioning, and emerging trends to enable informed decision-making and tailored launch strategies
Drive customer segmentation analysis to prepare go-to-market model discussions in partnership with CE&O team
Manage and maintain oversight of all launch-relevant functions such as Value & Access, Medical, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, CE&O, Finance and Logistics to develop a fully aligned commercialization and launch plan
Actively engage with international functions through launch team meetings and strategic touchpoints to ensure product availability and operational readiness
Ensure international alignment to support seamless coordination between affiliate and global stakeholders, minimizing risks and delays
Oversee selected cross-functional commercialization projects required for launch, ensuring clear scope, timelines, and deliverables
Manage associated budgets with financial discipline and transparency, contributing to efficient resource allocation and launch excellence

Required Skills:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Life Sciences, Health Economics or a related field is required
7+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical or biotech commercialization, product launch planning, or strategic marketing
Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects in a matrixed environment
Experience in market analysis, business case development and stakeholder alignment across global and affiliate functions
Preferred Skills:
PhD with a strong strategic or analytical focus
Experience with AI-based market intelligence and innovative research methods
Strong financial discipline and transparency in budget management
