The position
As a Commercial Excellence Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:

  • Develop and implement strategies to align, measure, and achieve excellence in the execution of commercial initiatives with business unit goals and objectives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of best practices for sales force effectiveness, productivity index, market expansion, and field force deployment.
  • Establish metrics to evaluate the performance of commercial initiatives and provide regular insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Design and execute targeted customer segmentation strategies to optimize resource allocation and customer engagement.
  • Lead market research activities to gather insights on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences. Develop and administer short-term incentive plans to motivate and drive desired sales behaviors and outcomes.
  • Lead the development and execution of digital transformation initiatives to enhance commercial operations and to achieve a superior customer engagement.


Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline. A Master's degree in Business Administration or MSc in Analytics, Data, Digital, or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial Excellence or Sales Force Effectiveness. Background in the pharmaceutical industry is a must
  • Proficiency in establishing and monitoring performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of commercial initiatives; Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance commercial performance.
  • Strong background in collaborating with cross-functional teams to align commercial strategies with market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Advanced English
