We currently have a career opportunity for a PIM Senior Technical Architect to join our national Commerce team.

 

As a PIM Senior Technical Architect, you will provide best-fit architectural solutions for one or more projects; you will assist in defining scope and sizing of work; and anchor Proof of Concept developments. You will provide solution architecture for the business problem, platform integration with third party services, designing and developing complex features for clients' business needs.

 

The PIM Senior Technical Architect will provide technology direction, ensures project implementation compliance, and utilizes technology research to innovate, integrate, and manage technology solutions.  You will collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high quality solutions, participate in Sales and various pursuits focused on our clients' business needs.

 

 

Responsibilities
  • Own and drive forward specific areas of technology architecture. Provide architectural solutions/designs to project execution teams for implementation.
  • Provide technology architectural assessments, strategies, and roadmaps for one or more technology domains.
  • Facilitate client workshops and collaborate with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand the business requirements and define future state recommendations based on market insights.
  • Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions.
  • Own development of a few features in every Sprint.
  • Support multiple Agile Scrum teams with planning, scoping and creation of technical solutions for the new product capabilities, through to continuous delivery to production.
  • Liaise with offshore team and clients for resolving technical dependencies, issues, and risks.
  • Create architecture diagrams of all systems interfacing with PIM and document the integrations and data workflows.
  • Create data models of the core PIM entities (channel, category, product, assets).
  • Mentor and provide architectural guidance to multiple teams building innovative applications.
  • Drive common vision, practices and capabilities across teams.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years programming or configuration experience with PIM, Commerce or Data platforms.
  • Leadership and team management experience with ability to provide strategic planning and oversight.
  • At least 5 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise and solutions architecture and architectural frameworks.
  • At least 5 years of experience with PIM platforms or managing product data in other platforms.
  • Fluent and current on architecture trends with an eye on market/technical conditions and future direction.
  • Experience in defining new architectures and ability to drive an independent project from an architectural stand point.
  • Experience in complete project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
  • Knowledge and experience in developing software using agile methodologies.
  • Proven track record of technical leadership roles delivering solutions within defined timeframes.
  • Skilled in building relationships with clients and in practice development activities.
  • Demonstrated success in performing work and managing complex and/or large consulting projects.
  • Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Experience working with a globally distributed team and managing off-shore teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Must be open to occasional travel.

  • Certification in Akeneo, Inriver or other PIM platform

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $152,118 to $202,730. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential variable compensation programs.
