About InOrg:

InOrg handles India Operations for Vivacommerce and is dedicated to empowering organizations to achieve global growth at scale. InOrg is establishing a Global Capability Center (GCC) for Vivacommerce 

System Designation: Architect
Location: Remote
Your Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, high-performance E-Commerce solutions using commerce platforms like BigCommerce and OroCommerce.
• Translate client business requirements into comprehensive technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure that solutions align with industry best practices and the client's business objectives
• Conduct architectural reviews and suggest improvements, have a prescriptive approach to problem solving
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
• Develop and maintain architectural documentation
• Have a close eye for NFRs - coming up with solutions with security, performance and scalability at the core.
• Oversee integration of third-party systems and services with commercetools

Required Skills and Experience:

• Extensive experience with E-Commerce platforms, such as Commercetools, SFCC, Oracle ATG, BigCommerce or Hybris
• Proven expertise in E-Commerce app development, theming customization, and 3rd party integrations
• Proficiency in extending E-Commerce APIs and utilizing both Frontend and Backend APIs
• Strong experience in customizing E-Commerce front-end components
• Comprehensive knowledge of vanilla E-Commerce feature set, functionality, and configuration
• Competent in relevant technologies (e.g., Java, Node.js, React, PHP, GraphQL).
• Familiarity with optimization, debugging tools, and strategies. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
• Experience in leading technical teams

Highly Desirable Skills:

• Exposure to SaaS / PaaS - Enterprise B2B software, ERP, and CRM platforms
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with integrations to 3rd party systems for Payments, Search, Checkouts, etc.
• Good UI and UX Aptitude
