Job Summary
The Cybersecurity and Privacy Analyst, a role residing within the Comcast Cybersecurity (CCS) organization, is responsible for implementing and maturing a company-wide Cybersecurity and Privacy compliance program to ensure that information assets, associated technologies and processes are adequately protected. In this role, candidates will work with various Privacy and Cybersecurity Process Owners to understand Privacy and Cybersecurity Controls in place and translate those controls into requirements to be used to help facilitate continuous controls monitoring.

The Controls Compliance Monitoring (CCM) team partners with Process Owners and Business Units to help drive the overall Security and Privacy Posture of the organization. CCM provides meaningful, data driven insights to the business unit to help the Business Units adopt a proactive approach to privacy and security, and to help drive overall compliance with Internal Policies and Standards. CCM aims to create a product (Dashboard) that is usable by all three lines of defense to promote awareness, accountability, and end-to-end reporting on Privacy and Security Controls.
The Cybersecurity and Privacy Analyst should have a general understanding of Security and Privacy controls, should be familiar with security industry standards and best practices, and must be able to effectively work with development, engineering, and operational counterparts, across a broad technical environment in all general security areas. This role will serve as a subject matter expert and provides guidance to employees and internal teams, will contribute to the functional strategy development, and closely align to business objectives in driving the maturity of the Organization’s compliance security posture.
The position is highly collaborative across a variety of teams, both technical and non-technical, and will require strong communication skills as well as the ability to build effective, productive relationships in order to succeed.
Core Responsibilities

Partners with Privacy and Cybersecurity Process Owners to understand standards and controls, and document metrics for continuous control monitoring

Works closely with the Business Engagement Team to support various Comcast Business Units during their onboarding to the continuous controls monitoring program

Performs control analysis for enhancements

Engages with key stakeholders and process owners to document requirements and drive control development activities

Analyze new and existing technologies, processes, and services to improve CCM customer experience and reporting for top executives as well as remediation engineers

Contributes to overall planning efforts for security framework design and implementation
Skills and Qualifications

Must have 2- 4 years of experience with data analysis

Must be proficient in data manipulation and analytics using Excel and SQL for large datasets

Ability to learn and query in Snowflake and Databricks environments

Experience in analyzing data and providing insights to stakeholders for compliance reporting, remediation, and awareness

Understanding of data analytics platforms, including the processes of data extraction, transformation, and loading, to support the program's analytics capabilities

Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse technical and non-technical teams

Experience creating well thought out presentations and reports that support the overall program and key initiatives
