Color Technologist

As a Color Technologist, will support the development and optimization of color practices to enhance product performance and customer experience. You will have technical knowledge of color software, databases, and instrumentation, with a focus on digital innovation and streamlined practices across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with color software and databases to support formulation and matching.

• Use and maintain spectrophotometers used within Industrial applications.

• Apply tint intermixes and formulation practices to support product development.

• Contribute to platform consolidation projects to reduce complexity.

• Improve digital color practices, advancing their role in customer-facing solutions.

• Explore and apply AI color matching principles to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Qualifications

• BS/MS degree in Chemistry with 5 years of related experience.

• Working knowledge of color software and databases.

• Familiarity with spectrophotometers and their use in Industrial applications.

• Experience with tint intermixes and formulation practices.

• Understanding of platform consolidation processes.

• Knowledge of digital color practices and a vision for customer-focused digital solutions.

• Familiarity with AI color matching principles is a plus.
