The Role
Primary Responsibilities:
Design and develop models using Cognos Framework Manager
Build and maintain reports using Report Studio
Write and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and report building
Perform basic Cognos administration tasks including data source configuration, scheduling reports, and troubleshooting
Collaborate with clients and stakeholders, demonstrating strong soft skills and professionalism
Secondary Skills & Knowledge:
Understand fact and dimensional table design principles
Apply foundational knowledge of data warehousing and data frameworks
Conduct data analysis to support reporting and decision-making
Exposure to Tableau and Power BI for data visualization and dashboarding
•Expertise in data mining, data storage and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes
•Experience in data pipelines development and tooling, e.g., Glue, Databricks, Synapse, or Dataproc
•Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases, PostgreSQL, DB2, MongoDB

We are seeking a skilled IBM Cognos Planning Analytics (TM1) Administrator with strong development expertise to manage, optimize, and enhance our enterprise planning environment. The ideal candidate will combine administration proficiency with hands-on development skills, ensuring system stability while delivering scalable planning and forecasting solutions.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

- Administration
- Manage TM1 servers, environments, and user security.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
- Oversee upgrades, patches, and environment migrations (on-premise/cloud).
