ROLE OVERVIEW:
Role Overview: At Codecademy, we are dedicated to democratizing technical learning and empowering both individuals and teams to grow their skills. As a Codecademy Teams Onboarding Specialist, you will focus on helping small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) get the most out of Codecademy Teams. Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, you will play a crucial role in improving trial conversion rates by engaging inbound leads, answering questions, and providing onboarding support. Your work will directly impact the growth of our Codecademy Teams business by ensuring prospects understand the value of our team-based learning platform and seamlessly transition from trial to paid subscriptions.
OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS and Key RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Engage with inbound leads to understand their needs and provide tailored onboarding support.
- Answer questions and provide detailed information about Codecademy Teams products and services.
- Focus on improving the conversion rate from trial to paid subscriptions by offering exceptional onboarding support.
- Collaborate with marketing, IT, and customer service departments to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Track and report on key metrics related to onboarding and conversion rates.
- Provide feedback to the product and marketing teams to improve the onboarding process and customer experience.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferable in a SaaS or tech environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and other relevant software tools.
