• Lead the design and implementation of core systems that are critical to company growth and customer impact.
• Define and uphold architectural patterns that balance scalability, maintainability, and delivery speed.
• Evaluate and adopt new technologies where they improve business or developer outcomes.
• Partner with engineering leads, product managers, and stakeholders to shape product direction.
• Break down complex technical problems and help cross-functional teams deliver cohesive solutions.
• Foster alignment on engineering best practices across teams.
• Mentor engineers, promote technical excellence, and lead design reviews.
• Set and uphold high standards for code quality, system resilience, and security.
• Influence engineering culture through thought leadership and hands-on guidance.
• Champion CI/CD, observability, and operational readiness.
• Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and implementation of long-term reliability improvements.
• Take ownership of platform performance, cost efficiency, and technical debt management

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven expertise in designing and building scalable distributed systems and backend services.
• Strong understanding of API design, data modeling, and systems architecture.
• Proficiency in TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, or equivalent programming languages.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience working in Cloud Environments (preferably Google Cloud Platform).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction across an organization.

• Experience leading technical strategy or major platform migrations.
• Familiarity with the company’s stack: TypeScript, Node.js, Vue.js, PostgreSQL, and GCP.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD tooling, and infrastructure-as-code.
• A security-first mindset, with familiarity in modern authentication, encryption, and secure-by-design principles.
