Purpose of Role

The Co-Curricular and Business Development Officer is responsible for the strategic development, management, and execution of the school’s enrichment programs, including extracurricular activities, holiday camps, and other ancillary educational offerings. The role focuses on enhancing the school’s overall programme, providing valuable experiences for students, and generating and monitoring ancillary income streams for the school through effective budget management and programme promotion.

ISP Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibility 1: Leadership and Strategy

  • Work closely with the iSP Business Development Consultant.
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan for enrichment programmes that aligns with the school’s mission and goals, focusing on both student development and income generation.
  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all extra-curricular and holiday programmes.
  • Identify opportunities to expand enrichment offerings and create new programmes that appeal to a broad range of students and families.
  • Develop and manage budgets for all enrichment activities, ensuring financial sustainability and profitability.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to ensure the school’s programmes remain competitive and attractive.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external agencies and the local community to enhance program offerings and create partnership opportunities.
  • Oversee marketing and promotion of enrichment programmes to maximise enrolment and revenue.

  • Develop detailed budgets for each programme, including revenue projections and expense management.
  • Monitor programme budgets throughout the year, tracking income and expenses, and adjusting as needed.
  • Analyse the financial performance of enrichment programmes and provide regular reports to the Campus Principal and Finance Director.
  • Identify and implement strategies to increase programme profitability and generate ancillary income for the school.
  • Ensure all financial transactions related to enrichment programmes are processed accurately and efficiently.

  • To contribute to the marketing activities for the Tenby Setia Eco Park (SEP) Schools.

  • To ensure professional and effective communication and consultation, as appropriate, between colleagues, parents and students at the Tenby Setia Eco Park (SEP) Schools.
  • Publicise and celebrate achievements.
  • Assist with the organisation of open evenings, consultation events and other events relating to the school.
  • To contribute to the marketing activities for the Tenby Setia Eco Park (SEP) Schools.
