CNC Programmer Machinist 
Location: Hastings, East Sussex, TN38 9PU
Contract: Full‑time, Permanent
Hours: 40 per week

Join the Kurt J. Lesker Company as a CNC Programmer Machinist at our European Headquarters in St. Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex.

We're seeking a skilled individual with experience in CNC programming & machining, a strong understanding of CAM software, and a qualification in Mechanical Engineering. If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex machining operations on CNC milling machines and read and understand G-code
• Mentor fellow employees to resolve complex machining problems
• Write and edit complex CNC programs to support production requirements providing optimum manufacturing cost and quality.
• Set and operate 3, 4, and 5 axis machines
• Read and understand Technical drawings
• Produce quality parts in a timely manner
• Verify conformance of finished workpieces to specifications using precision measuring instruments. 
• Collaborate with machinists, Engineering, and Product/Production Management to solve problems and improve processes.
• Other duties as assigned

What you'll bring:
Required

• ONC/HNC (Mechanical, Manufacturing Technology or Industrial Technology) or equivalent experience in a related field
• Proven machining experience on CNC equipment or using CNC solid modeling (turning and milling)
• Delcam or MasterCam Programming experience
• Extensive knowledge of machine functions (G code, M code, Offsets, etc)
