  • Develop machining strategies from engineering models and prints.
  • Support setups, prove-outs, and first-article runs on the shop floor.
  • Optimize cycle time, tool life, and surface finish.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Quality to ensure parts are built right the first time.
  • Help improve tooling strategies, CAM standards, and programming processes.

What makes this a Level II vs. Level III role?
  • We're open to hiring this role at either level, based on experience and technical depth:
 Programmer IIProgrammer III

  • Strong with Mastercam and complex milling
  • Expert in Mastercam, 5-axis, and machining strategy
  • Comfortable supporting setups and prove-outs
  • Leads prove-outs, optimization, and programming standards
  • Focused on accuracy and efficiency
  • Drives technical leadership and process improvement

*The starting salary range for this position falls between $60,000 - $140,000 per year depending on level and experience*

What you'll need:

  • Strong proficiency with Mastercam.
  • Experience programming complex lathes and/or multi-axis CNC mills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and 3D models.
  • Experience working hands-on with machinists during setups and prove-outs.
  • A quality-driven mindset and attention to detail.
  • Swiss-machine experience is a plus but not required.
  • ISO9001 or AS9100 standards highly preferred.
  • Aerospace and defense industry experience preferred.
