Shift 2 (United States of America)Milacron is looking for a CNC Milling Machine Operator to join our team in Mt. Orab, OH. As a Mill Operator, you will be responsible for the set-up and operation of machinery to produce a large assortment of metal parts or finishes often of a complex nature. In this role, you will apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, and machining procedures to produce quality parts for our plastics processing machinery out of raw material. Work You’ll Do:
- Verify correct product using job traveler.
- Set-up and operate a Milling machine to blueprint specifications.
- Monitor machine performance and perform preventative maintenance to assure continuity of production.
- Monitor and ensure all fluid levels are maintained on all equipment (coolant, hydraulic flids, ETC.).
- Monitor inventory levels and report low levels and discrepancies to supervisor.
- Must use precision measuring tools and job specific hand tools.
- Read part drawing with sectional views.
- Lift, position, and transport work piece with a hoist.
- Must accurately record labor hours into E1 system.
- Maintain plant standards in areas of safety, quality, delivery, cost, 5S, housekeeping, teamwork, and attendance.
- Demonstrate personal leadership; actively participate in or lead problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
- Demonstrate flexibility when confronted with high stress or emergency situations, priority changes, or new assignments.
- Recommend improvements for area product and processes.
- Interact professionally when interacting with customers and employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Team:Reporting to the Group Lead, this role will be a part of the Barrel Group manufacturing/production team.Basic Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Some experience with or knowledge in precision tools and blueprints.

Basic computer skills with the ability to perform and interpret computer functions.
- Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills, and team player
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including any days, shift, and weekends to ensure that the customer demand is met.

Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of related experience or training: or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Currently enrolled in technical program such as machining, welding, industrial equipment, or manufacturing engineering.
