As a CNC Machinist in our Morgan Hill, CA office you will have responsibility for the assignment planning, layout, set up, operating and making tool adjustments for the Vertical CNC Machine. We are looking for candidates to work the day shift (7am-3:30pm) and/or swing shift (3:15pm-11:45pm). You will work from blueprints, process sheets and sketches to perform production tasks, which may include the cutting and shaping of metal to precision dimensions. You may communicate directly with engineers to understand the purpose of a part assembly. You will also check and inspect machining operations against specified tolerances and may identify and repair minor machine malfunctions. This position will be reporting to the Machining Center Manager based in Morgan Hill, CA.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1-5 years of vertical mill experience OR screw machine experience required
  • Manual mill/manual lathe experience is a plus

In order to be successful in this role, the following competencies and behavior skills are required:

  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints, written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be able to read and use Inspection tools  
  • Must have basic general shop mathematics.
  • Must possess mechanical aptitude skills.

 The annual base salary range for this position is $28/hr - $36/hr. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
