Trident Consulting is seeking a "CNC Machinist" for one of our clients in "Claremore, OK" A global leader in business and technology services.
Role: CNC Machinist
Location: Claremore, OK - Contract
Duration: 12 Months
Shift: 6:00am to 2:00pm
Pay: $25/hr - $35/hr on W2 (Inclusive all)
Position Summary
Sets up and operates CNC lathes, mills, saws, and/or related machining equipment to manufacture precision components. The ideal candidate possesses strong machining knowledge, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to interpret engineering specifications while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, saws, and related machining equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Produce precision components to engineering specifications and quality standards.
- Monitor machining operations and adjust machine settings as needed.
- Calculate dimensions, tolerances, feeds, speeds, and cutting parameters.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and machine adjustments.
- Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Required:
- Minimum 1 year of CNC, lathes, mills and/or saw machining experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to apply algebra and geometry concepts to machining operations.
- Ability to calculate dimensions and make machine adjustments.
- Experience in a manufacturing or oilfield equipment production environment
