The CNC Machinist III is a senior technical expert, troubleshooter, advanced, highly skilled manufacturing professional responsible for complex setups, precision operations, and mentoring Level I and Level II machinists, working autonomously and leads projects.

 

Essential Job Duties:
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and train Machinist Level I and Level II personnel on shop floor best practices.
  • Edits/offsets programs at the machines, to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, tooling, or programming issues in real time.
  • Must Independently execute tooling selection, work holding solutions, fixtures, and offsets for multi-axis mills and lathes.
  • Deep familiarity with GD&T, blueprint reading, CAD/CAM software, and advanced metrology.
  • Assist in first piece buyoff, inspecting parts using advanced measuring tools and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) specifications.

 

Schedule:

M-F, 7AM-3:30PM -Central Time. Ability to work after hours during the week and weekends, as the workload requires.

Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 3–5+ years of industrial, manufacturing, warehouse experience.
  • Strong interpretation of drawings, blueprints and GD&T.
  • Must be a U.S citizen.


Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Warehouse environment, with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Exposure to mechanical, electrical, and chemical systems.
