We’re seeking a CNC Machinist II to join our growing team. If you have a keen eye for detail and a strong background in machining, this is a great opportunity to work in a high-performance manufacturing environment producing precision parts for defense, commercial, and environmental industries.
What You’ll Do
- Operate CNC 3,4 and 5 axis machines to cut and shape precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints, instructions, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Load and unload raw materials safely.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using gages and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
- Monitor machine operations, make tool wear offsets, and identify worn or damaged cutting tools.
- Is competent to assist in training others.
- Works well with minimal supervision.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workstation.
- Ability to perform detailed inspections and identify defects.
- Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- 2-3 years minimum of CNC machining experience required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing instructions.
- Proficiency with gages, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
- Experience with tool wear offsets, fixturing, and material handling.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality standards (AS9100 experience is a plus).
- Basic math skills (fractions, percentages, ratios, etc.).
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a moderate-to-high noise environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time position with 4-day workweeks. Days open Monday – Saturday.
- Work Hours: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts scheduled between these hours) (weekend shifts may be required).
