We are seeking a skilled and motivated First Shift Operator for our CNC machines.
As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will utilize your technical expertise to set up, program, and monitor complex machining processes, ensuring efficient production flow during the second shift. Your mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to quality will drive the success of our manufacturing operations.
Hours: Monday through Thursday 5am to 3pm.
Wage based off of experience.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines with proficiency, ensuring accurate and efficient production of complex parts.
- Conduct routine inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other quality control tools to verify part dimensions against GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
- Collaborate with team members on tooling setup, fixture adjustments, and process improvements to enhance productivity.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously, including proper use of hand tools, safety guards, and factory safety procedures.

Ability to Commute:

- Preferred: Proven experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Preferred: Knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T principles, and precision measurement instruments including calipers and micrometers.
- Ability to work on the shift schedule reliably.
- Basic math skills necessary for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machine settings; strong problem-solving skills are essential.
