What we offer:Job Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary interface with customers and internal teams to ensure dimensional requirements are met and maintained.
Lead development, launch, and ongoing oversight of dimensional control processes from program launch through series production.
Program, operate, and support dimensional measurement systems and metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, Hexagon) to ensure product compliance.
Monitor, analyze, and respond to dimensional data from measurement equipment and in‑process sensors, including daily process stability reviews.
Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and validation efforts for dimensional issues, ensuring timely closure and repeat issue prevention.
Drive dimensional improvement initiatives to meet customer quality targets (PPM, incidents, RMAs) and support FMEA RPN reduction.
Coordinate cross‑functional activities, customer engagements, and interdepartmental studies while providing training and technical guidance to teams.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:
HR Diploma or GED required
2-year degree in a technical discipline preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING:
Preferably 7-10 years work related experience, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 years' experience programming Zeiss / GOMs Scanning Units
2 years of interpreting and responding to coordinate measurement reports, both internally and with an automotive OEM Customer.
GOMs / Zeiss Programming (Certification Preferred
Polyworks Inspect Programing (Certification Preferred
Statistical Process Control Managemen
Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) preferre
Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
