• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, HR policies, Right to Work requirements, and National Minimum Wage regulations across the cluster.

• Oversee onboarding and induction processes, ensuring all new starters receive a high-quality experience, including delivery of face-to-face HR induction within agreed timelines.

• Champion career development and succession planning, enabling internal progression through structured development pathways and mobility opportunities.

• Act as people systems champion (e.g. HRIS), ensuring data accuracy, effective use of systems, and adoption of best practice.

• Support payroll governance by monitoring submission deadlines, following up on outstanding data with managers, and completing managerial payroll checks as required (note: the role does not process payroll).

• Manage and support organisational change activity, including restructures, role changes, and new site openings.

• Maintain a visible, trusted, and hands-on HR presence across cluster locations.

• Support ad-hoc people projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Undertake any other reasonable duties aligned to the role.
