- Assist in the design, and implementation support of the AWS and Azure public cloud build (connectivity, network, security, containerization, monitoring)
- Automate infrastructure provisioning to standup servers, install software and applications
- Research and consult on AWS, Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructure and operational solutions
- Provide guidance on security configurations and risk and compliance procedures (Identity Management, Network Configuration, Data Protection, Segregation of Duties)
- Manage storage, compute efficiency, and optimization activities, including evaluating configuration of compute size, storage solutions, and other service (network services, automation, and load balancing)
- Coordinate with engineering and architecture teams to ensure continuity of solutions
- Advise on best practices for improving operational processes
- Interpret enterprise class assessments (objectives, data collection, analysis, and reporting against objectives)
- Scripting code review and run book QA
- Scripting of Desired Configuration Management (DCM) automations for deployment and enforcement
- Assist during all BCP/DR (Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery) activities (test or otherwise)
- Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.e. Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.).
- Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
- Identifies and reports suspicious activity.
- 2+ years in automation/configuration management using Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation or an equivalent
- 2+ years with source code management tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or equivalent
- 2+ years with SQL and NoSQL DBs such as SQL, MySQL, Amazon DynamoDB
- Solid understanding of networking and core Internet Protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP and routing in distributed networks
- 3+ years of scripting skills in shell, Perl, Python, Ruby, PowerShell (at least 2)
- Experience in designing and implementing application and infrastructure monitoring (New Relic, CloudWatch, Datadog, or equivalent) and logging solutions (CloudTrail, Splunk, or equivalent)
- Experience with Cloud Compliance Frameworks (CSA, FedRAMP, SOX)
- Experience in performance tuning, including the following load balancing, web servers, content delivery Networks, Caching (Content and API)
- Experience in High Availability and Disaster recovery implementations
- A working understanding with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo or equivalent
- Ability to build relationships between the customers and the team members
- Ability to work independently
- Self-motivated
- Ability to set own goals and manage towards them
- Good client presentation skills
- Ability to effectively mentor team members
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Certifications relevant to AWS and cloud technologies (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer) preferred
