Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Native Applications

About the RoleAnalog Devices Inc. is building next-generation cloud services and is seeking a senior-level software engineer with strong AWS expertise and a proven track record in cloud-native backend development. You will join our Software Product Experience team, working across the full customer experience stack—from device hardware integration and APIs to the security and scalability of our cloud infrastructure.
In this role, you’ll design, build, and deliver production-grade code for cloud services, customer-facing features, and web applications, impacting thousands of customers worldwide.
• Shape the architecture for Analog Devices’ cloud software stack, enabling PaaS and SaaS offerings.
• Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and make informed build-vs-buy recommendations.
• Report on cloud market trends to inform technical strategy.
• Implement and integrate both internally developed and third-party technologies.
• Build frameworks and interface layers connecting our cloud components.
• Ensure scalability, security, and maintainability in production systems.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Write, document, and test production code to enterprise standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in development processes and tooling.
• 5+ years developing large-scale, cloud-native solutions with one or more of: Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Go, C#, or JavaScript.
• 3+ years designing and testing scalable, customer-facing systems.
• Strong AWS experience (serverless, storage, compute, networking).
• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Deep knowledge of connected systems, networking, cloud computing, and integration patterns.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitHub Actions, Jira, automated testing).
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• AWS Certified Developer – Associate (or higher).
• Professional experience with Go for building secure, scalable microservices.
• Expertise in AWS Serverless services (DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, EventBridge).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with AWS CDK or CloudFormation.
