ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to strengthen our team within a strategic digital operations initiative. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, supporting, and optimizing modern cloud-based platforms on Microsoft Azure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure stable, secure, and scalable cloud environments, supporting advanced analytics, AI, and DevOps-driven workloads.
This position plays a key role in platform operations, automation, and continuous improvement of cloud services that enable data-driven and AI-enabled solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate, maintain, and support Azure-based cloud platforms in a production environment.
Manage and optimize Azure services including analytics, AI, and DevOps components.
Support platform operations and 3rd-level incident resolution.
Implement and maintain automation using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments.
Ensure platform reliability, performance, security, and cost efficiency.
Work closely with application, data, and AI teams to enable scalable cloud solutions.
Document operational procedures and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong technical knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of Azure Analytics / Databricks environments.
Experience with Python, SQL, and PowerShell scripting.
Understanding of API Gateway concepts and integrations.
Familiarity with Machine Learning and AI-related cloud services (e.g. Azure AI, Azure OpenAI is a plus).
Experience in AMS operations / platform support environments.
Solid troubleshooting skills and experience in production operations.
Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments.
Willingness and readiness to travel as required by project or client needs is expected. This may include occasional domestic or international travel, sometimes on short notice.

Salary range: €3000 - €5000 (GROSS) / month.
