Want a seat at our table? Ziosk is looking for a highly experienced Cloud Ops Engineer to join our IT team.  This role will work in a cloud-centric, SaaS-enabled, but hybrid ecosystem, still with a vital footprint of on-prem components.  Responsibilities will focus on using coding, web, and database skills to integrate and bridge disparate technology platforms.  Bespoke solutions will tie together corporate, back-office systems as well as external, customer platforms.  The mission of the role and team is to operate a wide array of IT technologies for both corporate and production contexts.

IT Pros at Ziosk employ a service-driven attitude and work independently to prioritize work requests and assigned projects, and to identify and foster improvements in technology or business processes under their own direction.  The Engineer will initiate and perform changes on production systems and will proactively escalate or collaborate on work items with IT team members and cross-functional colleagues as necessary.

The Main Course – Responsibilities 

•             Develop bespoke solutions using Visual Studio IDE.

•             Author, manage, and monitor workflows in a cloud-based Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS).

•             Assist in managing ERP platform.

•             Co-administer and extend functionality of Atlassian Jira and Jira Service Management ecosystem.

•             Apply knowledge and experience of IT security standards and best practice frameworks, primarily PCI DSS.

What You Bring To The Table – Qualifications

•             Experience with these languages:  JavaScript, C#, Python and exposure to:  PowerShell, React/React Native

•             Fluent in HTML, CSS.

•             Adept in working with code repositories (e.g. Github, BitBucket).

•             Proficient in working with and writing SQL statements with knowledge of database management systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).

•             Proven experience in managing and integrating SaaS applications.

•             Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

•             The ability to network and establish cross-functional relationships is a must.

•             5+ years of experience in the Information Technology field.

•             Familiarity with PCI DSS, or other security compliance standards, and participation in audits.
