Project Role Description : Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure environment and/or applications through cross-technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), scripting, and monitoring automation execution. Manage incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all compute, network, storage, security, or automation incidents /requests. Manage rollout of patches and release management schedule and implementation.

Summary: As a Cloud Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying, configuring, and managing cloud infrastructure environments and applications. A typical day involves cross-technology administration, including operating systems, databases, and virtual networks. You will engage in scripting and monitoring automation execution, ensuring that incidents are managed effectively with a focus on service restoration. Your role will also include managing the rollout of patches and overseeing the release management schedule and implementation, contributing to the overall efficiency and reliability of cloud operations. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Red Hat OS Administration. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. - Strong understanding of network protocols and security best practices. - Experience with automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet. - Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Red Hat OS Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
