As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. The position requires close collaboration with various teams to align migration efforts with business goals, while continuously monitoring progress and addressing any challenges that arise during the migration process. The engineer plays a key role in enabling organizations to leverage both private and public cloud technologies to achieve advanced operational capabilities and improved business outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless migration and integration of cloud solutions.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure post-migration to maintain high availability and performance.
- Document migration processes and best practices to support knowledge sharing within the team.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support during migration activities.
