Summary:
As an Advanced Application Engineer in the Application/Cloud Support job family group, you will utilize modular architectures, next-generation integration techniques, and a cloud-first, mobile-first mindset to provide vision to Application Development Teams. Your typical day will involve working with an Agile mindset to create value across projects of multiple scopes and scale.
Requirements and skills
• Work experience as a Cloud Engineer, good knowledge inAWS, GCP
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Positive attitude and a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering or an equivalent
• 5+ years of experience working in operation support or project management.
• Familiarity with Linux OS, Windows, Python, Apache, APIetc.
• Understand and experience in the OS patching process.
• Knowledge of Networking, DNS, LDAP, Firewall
• Relevant training and/or certifications would be asset.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Required Skill: At least 2 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure.
- Additional Must To Have Skills: Experience with Google Cloud Platform.
- Additional Good To Have Skills: Cloud Design and Build, Google Cloud Compute Services.
- Linux terminal, scripting, GitHub, GMP/TIC, SNOW, Dynatrace, SPC, JIRA, SAP wiki etc.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts, including virtualization, networking, and storage.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure.
